Did you know that Princess Winnifred actually swam the moat to reach Prince Dauntless the Drab? Or that Lady Larken’s love for Sir Harry provided a rather compelling reason that she reach the bridal altar post haste? Or that, in fact it wasn’t the pea at all that caused the princess a sleepless night? Carried on a wave of wonderful songs by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the familiar classic of royal courtship and comeuppance provides for some side-splitting shenanigans. Constitution-in-Action Learning Lab Family Program

Families are invited to take on the role of researchers and archivists for a day at the National Archive’s Boeing Learning Center. During a two-hour simulation, they will help the President and Bob, his Communications Director prepare for a very special press conference.
Families will work together to locate and analyze facsimile documents and find the connection each has to the Constitution.  This is a great way to explore the history, learn more about the National Archives, and gain a greater understanding of the role the Constitution plays in our daily lives.
