face painter Maryland

I’ve had the greatest week (and it’s only Thursday) Face Painting, sharing laughs, meeting new people, and overall having the best “job” ever!!!!  This profession not only has given me the versatility to be a “stay at home” mom, but is also rewarding in so many wonderful ways.  When I show someone their face paint design in the mirror and witness them stare in disbelief or total amazement, THAT is what makes me love everything about what I do.  Receiving a text in the middle of the night by someone so impressed because their design made it through the entire evening, a review left because someone is so pleased with my work and/or service, or simply (and honestly the best) is when someone exclaims something like:  “it’s the best face paint I’ve ever had!,” or “I look beautiful,” or “wow!  It’s perfect!” or “I look soooo cool!,” or simply brings tears to ones eyes, makes my job the very best, ever.  These reasons make it worth fighting traffic to get to an event in Baltimore, MD from Fairfax, VA, then back to Frederick, MD, or explaining endless times why we charge what we do, and even walking around with glitter in my hair or green fingers and receiving odd looks from strangers (no big deal, but it’s amusing).  Being able to put a smile on someone’s face and add joy to their day makes a dismal day bright.  It’s also wonderful that face painting is not limited to any age group; it can delight anyone at any age, on any given day!  I absolutely love what I do and look forward to a bright and rewarding future of sharing my craft and putting smiles on as many faces possible!

I hope you have a beautiful day, today and everyday!
