Join Pixie Dust Creations & Black Hill Regional Park for Monarch Fiesta Day on Saturday, Sept. 17th. I’ll be there face painting from 11:00-4:00 pm. I have a great assortment of fanciful and festive designs to put smiles on lots of faces!!!
Come out and explore the life evolution of the Monarch Butterfly. The exhibits provide an in-depth look into their metamorphosis, habitats, travel, and even opportunities to help tag the butterflies! It’s a fabulous event that I try to never miss. It is very kid friendly with lots of exhibits and activities for kids to participate in…did I mention FACE PAINTING..and it’s FREE?!?!? The entire event is FREE! My family and I started taking my daughter when she was really little and I have to tell you, she discovers something new with every visit. It just doesn’t get old!!! After your visit at the Nature Center, maybe check out their age appropriate play grounds, hike/bike their trails, or even the canoes and paddle boats and go explore Little Seneca Lake. That doesn’t get old either! It’s a fabulous day spent with nature and your family. It’s a win/win kind of day. Did I mention the weather is supposed to be AMAZING!?!?!
I can’t say enough fabulous things about Black Hill regional park! It’s most certainly a great place for people of all ages to get out, detox from the madness of life, learn, explore, and enjoy nature! Oh…and get FACE PAINTED!!! Hope to see you there!
